Talk about the need for a Kamloops Performing Arts Centre, discuss the concept behind the number of seats it should have, where it should be built, and the build project administrative and financial structure (grassroots, City, Prov, Fed), that it would take to build and operate it.
Given Kamloops recent experience, what is the best approach?
We need a PAC , the number of seats will be determined by demand funding that the public and finders are comfortable financing . I will give my full support to who ever comes to the table with a viable financial and workable plan that suited the arts community. I do not want the tax payers on the hook for no more than 1/2 if the budget , maybe we should apply for grants that are available to us to save the residents any extra cost . It is a hot topic button and any tax increases mentioned to build it will not be widely accepted
