Are there any specific ways that you can see that the city can better serve the business community?
Kamloops has a business and industry tax rate that is in some cases 3 and 4 times higher than our neighboring communities. If we expect to be able to compete for those new investors and new industries currently coming online, we should be seeking ways to either reduce or freeze those rates.
