Are there any social justice causes you're personally active in, or, at least interested in?
I am involved in many social justice for peace and for the environment causes. I march each year in the Peace March and have participated in the pride parade for two decades. The Salmon Caravan and reserving our water and environment are important issues for me. I also volunteer for the Out of the Cold program and do a lot of outreach to the most vulnerable in our community. Running for Kamloops City council is a way for me get involved in in a more direct way and has provided a platform for me to speak to the things I am passionate about.
