Do you have any sort of plan or interest in developing a plan to address the trains idling for extended periods of time?

It's worth being pro - active about. From the article I skimmed over there are win win scenarios. It also explains why the damn trains are left to idle. Some valid reasons. I am not sure that this is something that could be addressed at the civic level.

I would definitely raise this as an issue to be considered. In my past experience, City Council was successful in Dallas resolving residents' concerns about coal dust emitted from the trains causing damage to houses and properties.
