Starting on August 22 Kamloops is inviting all to join together for the Poor person’s walk inviting all homefree to walk together with our support walkers at our side who are not poor and together we walk for 4 days, 5 miles a day. to show all parts of our city has its own problems that need to be seen by all to join together to fix it. please come, walk the walk, talk the talk to learn…about each other… how can I help…
We’ll be hosted in diverse locations around our Secwepemc Territory Kamloops.
FRIENDLY (BUT IMPORTANT) REMINDERS
Organizations are asked to keep as clean as possible.
mobility aids are permitted.
Absolutely no use of paint (washable, permanent, spray, chalk or otherwise) on any city property including roadways, sidewalks, walls, grass etc. as per a City of Kamloops regulation.
