KamloopsVoter.ca Does a Soft Launch Before the Upcoming Kamloops Election

We’ve invited a few of the candidates in the upcoming 2018 Kamloops election to create accounts on the site as part of the soft launch of our site.

This is a brand new custom website with a lot a moving parts on the back end. We’re going to attempt to take things slow and ramp up. The website is open for any candidate to create a free account and start promoting themselves and their campaign. The level of promotion will depend on candidate participation.

KamloopsVoter.ca allows candidates to create a profile with some standard fields. Candidates also have free form fields like biography and experience. Each candidate’s profile will build as they participate by answering questions from the public.

The public is also encouraged to create endorsements for the candidates that they support.

All together, we hope this will not only help voters become more informed but also encourage more people to vote.
