Fairness, and Transparency for the 2018 Kamloops Candidates

I was discussing the order in which candidates are listed on this site with Nicholas Adams yesterday.

After some thinking, I decided to make a change. Whether candidates are listed by first name, last name, the order that they created their account, or some other way, there’s  always someone that’s going to be at the top of the list and someone stuck at the bottom.

I looked at the option of listing all of the candidates by their participation in answering questions, or possibly endorsements, but decided that randomizing the results would be the best solution.

As of today, the Candidates Page will group all candidates grouped by the office they’re running for, then randomized.

One of the greatest things about doing this type of thing on the internet is the ability to make changes. Since day one, development has been continuous with new features being added and tweaking issues. Making sure that the original purpose of this website is served in the best possible way is an ongoing journey.

Anyone with suggestion can use the Contact Page to send me their ideas for review.
